Workplace injuries and workers comp
When it comes to occupational medicine, Nura provides the comprehensive evaluation, treatment recommendation, documentation and reporting needed to address the unique concerns of each work-related injury. Our comprehensive approach encompasses a specific diagnosis, treatment plan and return to work plan for each patient.
How we do it
Nura works closely with QRCs and occupational health professionals including physical and occupational therapy to communicate effectively with each stakeholder (insurance companies, employers, attorneys) to understand the diagnosis of each injury and to deliver therapies that promote physical well-being, as well as a safe and effective return to work plan. The treatment plan and coordination of return to work with rehabilitation professionals is part of every appointment. Occupational health at Nura addresses the specific restrictions and work abilities, as well as recommendation for accommodations and treatment options, depending on the diagnosis of the injured worker. When necessary we will make a referral to an outside specialist as well as interventional therapies to promote physical recovery and a return to work of each injured worker.
