Profile
Dr. Foster is a Minnesota native. He grew up in Eagan, MN, and graduated from Eagan High School. After graduation, he went south to New Orleans, LA to attend Tulane University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Management. He then moved back to Minnesota to pursue his medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School. While in medical school, Dr. Foster volunteered at the Philips Neighborhood Clinic. His time there made him want to work in a clinic setting, helping patients with their pain. After receiving his medical degree, he completed his transitional internship at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He then entered his residency in anesthesiology at Northwestern University in Chicago and, most recently, completed his fellowship in pain medicine at Northwestern University.
Dr. Foster is board certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is looking forward to beginning his career as a pain management physician at Nura and helping our patients find pain relief!
Hobbies/Special Interests
In his spare time, Dr. Foster enjoys spending time with friends and family. He loves the outdoors, whether it be hiking, camping, or backpacking. He is also an avid reader!
